از سال 2004 میلادی، اولین پنجشنبه ماه نوامبر توسط موسسه بینالمللی آموزش آمریکا (IIL) به عنوان روز جهانی مدیریت پروژه در هر سال نامگذاری کرده است. این روز به پاس جایگاه ویژه مدیریت پروژه در سازمانهای پروژهمحور و سازمانهایی که از متدولوژیهای مدیریت پروژه بهره میگیرند، گرامی داشته میشود. در این مناسبت، نهادها و سازمانهای متعددی در سراسر جهان برنامههای ویژهای برگزار میکنند تا موفقیتهای مدیران و تیمهای پروژه را ارج نهاده و تجلیل نمایند.
در ایران نیز در روز جهانی مدیریت پروژه هر ساله «سمپوزیوم مدیران حرفهای پروژه» با مشارکت دو شرکت برتر مدیریت پروژه کشور، با نامهای پیشرو مدیریت پیران (PMPiran) و راهبران سیستم رستاک و با حمایت انجمن مدیریت پروژه ایران، برگزار میشود. اولین سمپوزیوم مدیران حرفهای پروژه در آبانماه 1392 به همت شرکت پیشرو مدیریت پیران برگزار گردید.
امسال در آبان 1404 افتخار داریم پس از برگزاری ده سمپوزیوم موفق، یازدهمین سمپوزیوم مدیران حرفهای پروژه را با شعار «یک روز عالی مدیریت پروژه» برگزار کنیم. این سمپوزیوم فرصتی است تا مدیران پروژه، کارشناسان، مشاوران، اساتید و صاحبان کسبوکارهای پروژهمحور از صنایع مختلف گردهم آیند و ضمن تبادل تجربیات، چالشها و راهکارهای مدیریت پروژه را به بحث و بررسی بگذارند.
یک روز عالی مدیریت پروژه با حضور و مشارکت باشکوه 1500 نفر از شما عزیزان برگزار می گردد.

تنها شش دانشگاه دولتی گرایش مدیریت پروژه را در مقطع کارشناسیارشد از رشته مهندسی صنایع ارائه میکنند که گروه مهندسی صنایع دانشگاه یزد این نقش را از سال ۱۳۹۸ تا
شرکت مهندسی برسو در سال 1372 تاسیس شده است. با سابقه بیش از سی سال و در این سه دهه در احداث پروژه های متعدد نقش داشته است. گستره خدمات این
تاریخچه و معرفی نهادهای علمی، همواره با مشارکت و هدف گذاری های بزرگی از سوی اساتید برجسته و دغدغه مندان اصلی در حوزه مورد نظر طراحی و تشکیل می شود.
